Making Things Easier For SMEs

A key objective of the eProcurement Scotl@nd Programme is to make Scotland the easiest place to do this business. Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) have the opportunity through the Programme to adopt technology and the latest best practice Purchase to Pay (P2P) methods, including electronic order receipt and invoice payment, putting them on a par with global corporations.

The journey from first contact to connection to eProcurement Scotl@nd is simple and straightforward, and once connected a supplier will find it easy to transact with public sector bodies across Scotland. SMEs play a fundamental role in the success of the Programme and will be provided with support such as educational and self-help tools where needed.

A look through the case studies available on this website demonstrates the benefits that connecting to eProcurement Scotl@nd can bring to SMEs, benefits that were beyond the reach of all but a few global organisations not so long ago.
