Registers of Scotland goes live with ePS
Registers of Scotland (ROS) went live on 12th December 2005 with the eProcurement Scotl@nd service (ePS).
ePS is now live with 21 users trained across the procurement department. 62 suppliers are live on the system with 5 catalogues and 58 non-catalogue connections. First orders totalling £11,000 were raised from 2 suppliers (Aspen, Lyreco).
Allan Forsyth, Project Manager, Registers of Scotland said:
"Adopting e-procurement and joining ePS enables Registers of Scotland to continue to improve the efficiency of its P2P processes and also achieve procurement related savings without compromising the continued delivery of an effective and efficient service to the people of Scotland."
Registers will continue to roll out the ePS service with an additional 160 users across the remaining departments during January to March 2006.
