Dumfries and Galloway Council Go Live - 10 January 2008
During their first month of using ePS, Dumfries and Galloway Council processed around 50 purchase orders with a value of £26,000 as part of their Phase 1 roll-out. They have achieved 41 users from a different parts of the council including:
- Combined Services Administration
- Procurement & Supplies
- Communications
- Human Resources
- Education Services
- Newington Primary and Sanquhar Academy
- Financial Services
They have also brought 16 suppliers onto the system.
They hope to implement an accelerated roll-out during phase 2. During the next 5 months they hope to achieve 860 users on the system. Powersolve financial system has been included as part of the package and they plan to implement eInvoicing with suppliers as soon as possible, thus benefiting from P2P process.
