The profile of procurement has never been higher - the publication of the long-awaited McClelland Report, new legislation and the need to support the efficient government agenda mean that the environment in which public sector procurement staff operate is increasingly complex and demanding.

Reforming Scottish Public Procurement is the second such conference to be organised by the Scottish Executive, in partnership with BiP Solutions Ltd. The previous event attracted a capacity audience and, with procurement reform at the top of the agenda, this year will be no exception.

Chaired by well-respected Scottish broadcaster and journalist Fiona Armstrong and opening with an address from keynote speaker Tom McCabe MSP, the event will offer numerous opportunities throughout the day for delegates to participate in Q&A sessions, forum discussions and seminars on the current procurement climate.

Delegates attending the event will hear presentations from keynote speakers on a number of contemporary procurement challenges, including working with SMEs, smarter procurement and collaborative working, as well as real-life experience of the implementation of the McClelland Report from organisations in local government and health, and from John McClelland himself.

In addition to presentations and networking opportunities, there will be an extensive exhibition area which will house special SME and Social Inclusion Zones designed to highlight products and services across all sectors of the Scottish marketplace.

Do not miss your opportunity to participate in Scotland's biggest procurement conference and exhibition this year.
