Delivering best value through eProcurement
ePS has been fully operational since 2002 and a number of case studies have been written about the use of the service. Some of these case studies can be accessed in this section or by browsing in each of the service sections in the main menu.
Since the official launch of the eProcurement Scotl@nd service (ePS) in March 2002, the Council has demonstrated that using ePS slashes the time taken to process orders. Each year, the Council spends around £153 million buying goods and services.
Argyll and Bute council experienced difficulties with supplier adoption for service suppliers. The problems were overcome by working with the supplier and the PECOS system.
